Project Description:
Leading international Tier 1 automotive manufacturer is looking for highly skilled automotive engineering professionals to provide onsite support of multiple Autonomous Drive projects in northern Germany.
Responsibilities:
First Contact / Client Collaboration
Act as the primary point of contact for the customer, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively close to the customer and on customer premises in Wolfsburg.
Work closely with the client to meet their requirements and expectations, ensuring a seamless operation and user experience.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to driving systems, collaborating with software and hardware teams to implement solutions.
Support of error analysis / problem solving / action plans to ensure customer satisfaction
Compliance: Ensure that driving systems comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Documentation: Ensure proper comprehensive problem description of all identified deviations and creation and prioritization of problem reports.
Components flashing and samples deliveries
Commissioning of samples in the customer cars
Establishing and maintaining a network at the relevant department of the customer
Planning joint test campaigns with the customer
Mandatory Skills Description:
Automotive Systems Knowledge - Strong understanding of automotive electronics, sensor technology, and ECU systems
Software & Hardware Troubleshooting - Ability to diagnose and resolve issues, collaborate with SW/HW teams, and apply structured problem-solving techniques.
Flashing & Commissioning - Experience with ECU flashing, firmware updates, and component validation in customer vehicles.
Testing & Compliance - Familiarity with ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), ASPICE, AUTOSAR, and industry standards.
Diagnostics & Debugging Tools - Experience using CANoe, CANalyzer, Vector tools, Jira, Confluence, etc.
Networking & Communication Protocols - CAN, LIN, Ethernet
Customer Relationship Management - Ability to work on-site in Wolfsburg, act as the primary point of contact, and address customer concerns effectively.
Problem-Solving & Root Cause Analysis - Experience handling error analysis, action planning, and issue resolution.
Project Coordination - Experience in planning joint test campaigns, coordinating deliveries, and working across departments.
Documentation & Reporting - Strong skills in writing problem reports, creating structured documentation, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Communication & Negotiation - Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Teamwork & Stakeholder Management - Building relationships within the customer organization.
Proactivity & Initiative - Taking ownership of issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Flexibility & Adaptability - Handling on-site challenges, troubleshooting under pressure, and adapting to dynamic customer needs.
