We are seeking an Experienced Hire Recruiter to join our team in Munich.
Job Overview:
Reporting to the Recruiting Manager, the Experienced Hire Recruiter is responsible for the day-to-day operations of recruiting for experienced consultants, ensuring that hiring goals are achieved. The role involves strategic initiatives to build a diverse candidate pool and enhance the company’s employer brand in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source candidates for diverse Practice Groups in the different markets in Europe using a variety of channels including direct applications, employee referrals, and direct sourcing efforts.
- Set and manage expectations of Partner and Consulting staff across Practice Groups with regard to recruitment targets and timelines.
- Define required skill set and screening criteria for the open positions with the individual Practice Group and the respective geography, ensure consistency in standards and quality across Europe.
- Review and process CVs according to the defined criteria and coordinate screening by Practice Groups.
- Provide regular updates on the candidate pipeline to the responsible Partner in the Practice Group / geography and Europe Head of Recruiting Management
- Work together with Executive Assistant responsible for scheduling interviews for all interviewing rounds, communicating with those relevant to the process.
- Coordinate feedback and offer process, ensuring evaluation and hiring guidelines are followed.
- Obtain necessary approvals and produce contract and offer letter documents using Oliver Wyman formatting styles and obtain references.
- Provide insight and manage local operational/contractual nuances for European Geographies.
- Coordinate and assist in the new hire process and on-boarding procedures, including managing start dates.
- Liaise with the HC Services team to ensure files are complete, visa issues are identified, etc.
- Work with Talent Management, Learning & Development and Operations teams to ensure successful integration of new staff.
- Maintain/update recruiting IT system (WorkDay) and required databases to ensure accuracy of information for firm use.
- Assist with other areas of recruitment projects as required.
Experience and Skills Required:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Full end to end recruiting life cycle experience – 5 years of experience either working internally as a recruiter or for a headhunter. Experience within a professional services / consulting firm would be ideal.
- Direct sourcing experience, successful track record of creating diverse pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail; as well as the ability to maintain and respect confidentiality.
- Ability to manage heavy workloads in a fast-paced environment, working independently and as part of an international team.
- Good interpersonal and analytical skills.
- High energy, creativity, initiative-taking, and a strong service focus.
