Java Software Engineer – FinTech, Big Data - €80,000

Over 500 companies in the financial sector count themselves as customers of my client in Karlsruhe who are looking for an experienced Java Developer.

The product is a Banking Supervision Information System for reporting and it’s very complex platform. The position is perfect for someone who enjoys a challenge.

Here are some of the tasks:

• Work in a team of Java specialists and develop the product in line with customer requirements
• Design new functionality and product extensions whilst working on customer support requests
• Develop and implement technically demanding concepts and improve the software in terms of performance

What you’ll need to bring:

• Several years of experience in software development (ideally from within the financial sector)
• Experience with Java, XML, XBRL, SQL and relational databases
• Strong analytical skills, interest in working on complex reporting issues
• Good German and English language skills

The company offer a stable, future-proof environment as the importance of banking supervision software grows. Remuneration bonuses are provided in addition to an attractive fixed salary in the region of €80,000.
