Integration Architect

On behalf of our international manufacturing customer (an end-client) we are currently looking for an Integration Solution Architect to join their team in the Nuremberg area. In this role, you’ll design, support, and optimize cloud and hybrid integration solutions and will be the product owner while being part of a very diverse team.

Tasks & Responsibilities in the role would include:

• Integration Support & Maintenance
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure business continuity and minimize downtime.
• Performance & Optimization
• Monitor, tune, and automate SAP integrations to boost system performance and efficiency.
• Solution Architecture
• Design SAP BTP-based integration and extension solutions for both cloud and on-premise systems.
• Lead integration projects involving SAP and third-party/cloud systems (AWS, Azure), including EDI standards like ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
• Security & Compliance
• Implement secure, compliant integration designs in line with global standards.

We are seeking as follows:

• 5 years' experience with cloud integration technologies
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management)
• Strong command of integration protocols: SOAP, REST, OData
• Experience building APIs, microservices, and middleware
• Proven track record integrating SAP with third-party platforms & cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
• Familiarity with EDI standards and hybrid landscapes
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical architecture
• Experience with SAP BTP services and solutions (Extension Suite, Data Intelligence, etc.)
