Position Overview
The Technical Service Engineer will play a crucial role in providing technical support and service to our partners and clients throughout the DACH region. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and stakeholders. This position requires travel and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful system deployment, operation, and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to customers, both remotely (e-ticketing and phone calls) and occasionally on-site, regarding installation, setup, operation, and maintenance of Pylontech products. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues by identifying root causes and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Customer Communication: Interact with customers professionally and courteously, demonstrating strong communication skills to understand their requirements and address their concerns. Provide clear instructions and explanations to customers, guiding them through troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
- Training and Documentation: Develop training materials, user guides, and FAQs to educate customers and internal stakeholders on the installation, operation, and maintenance of Pylontech products. Deliver training sessions to customers and partners, both in-person and remotely, to promote product understanding and self-sufficiency.
- Issue Resolution and Escalation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and sales, to escalate and resolve complex technical issues that require advanced troubleshooting or product modifications. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory resolution and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Product Testing and Quality Assurance: Keep communication with local customers, provide feedback to the R&D team regarding product regulation, recycling regulation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Power Systems, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the new energy, power, or photovoltaic industries
- Familiarity with energy storage systems, power electronics, and CRM system
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across the region
- Fluent in English and German. Proficiency in Chinese is considered a strong advantage
