Senior Financial Controller (m/f/d)

For our client, an international Asset Manager based in Frankfurt am Main, we are looking for a Senior Financial Controller.

Your Tasks:

• Maintain accurate books and deliver timely financial reports (group, local GAAP).
• Review and monitor the team's work to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure proper cost allocation to facilitate FP&A reporting obligations
• Manage the annual financial audits and prepare the statutory accounts (DATEV format).
• Liaise with the internal and external tax specialist on matters related to tax, and new business developments and models. Prepare, review and get annual tax return approved.
• Manage the daily activities, schedule, and workload of the German Accounting team.
• Work closely with the Group consolidation team on global initiatives and audits, maintain relationship to external consultancy.

Your Profile:

• Qualified Accountant with 7-10 years working experience, from an audit background.
• Relevant experience gained from an international firm, ideally in private equity or private credit.
• Advanced Excel skills, comfortable manipulating data and working with basic financial models.
• Fluent in German and English
