Tasks
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Python Software Engineer to join our team. As a Python Software Engineer, you will work on a variety of exciting projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications and graphical user interfaces for our automotive demonstrators and assistants.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation of solutions for camera based assistants and demonstrators.
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Python applications.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Utilize Python GUI frameworks like Tkinter, NiceGUI, or others to create intuitive and responsive interfaces.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
Develop and deploy unit tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the software.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to apply new techniques and tools to our projects.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a Python Software Engineer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in Python, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering best practices.
Solid understanding of data structures, software architecture, and software design principles.
Experience with GUI development.
Knowledge of version control systems (particularly Git).
Experience with Linux-based systems.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Fluent English, German B2 appreciated.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest, UnitTest).
Experience with automated build systems and continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines.
Experience in Computer Vision.
