For us as a customer-centric savings bank, data forms the basis for remaining future-proof and competitive. Targeted customer sales approaches are already based on comprehensive data-based sales support, which we want to further professionalize against the backdrop of advancing digitalization, changing customer needs and data protection requirements. We are therefore looking for an experienced data professional as a data manager (f/m/d) to support us in the data management team in further developing our data strategy, being a competent service provider for our sales units and thus providing our customers with an even better advisory experience.
With around 1,400 employees, Sparkasse Münsterland Ost is one of Germany's major savings banks and is much more than just a bank. We offer our customers a wide range of modern financial services, both digitally and in person on site. As a reliable partner and strong driving force in the region, we supported 1,083 regional projects in 2024 alone with funding of over 3 million euros. These tasks await you
- Data management concept: you will further develop our efficient data-based approach management system
- Professional data analysis: You professionalize and automate the preparation of data for different addressees of our company, in particular on the basis of the standard savings bank application "Data Analytics"
- Database development: you create databases for the best possible sales support, develop them further, create corresponding documentation and always keep an eye on quality and addressee suitability
- Further development of the application landscape: You share responsibility for the optimal use of the savings bank application map, in particular the expansion of data analytics and integrated approach management
- You present evaluation results in a clear and comprehensible way with clear, target group-oriented communication
What sets you apart
- You have a Bachelor's degree or a higher degree in (business) informatics, data management or a comparable qualification and have several years of professional experience - ideally in the savings bank or banking environment.
- You enjoy working with data and have a good understanding of data analysis.
- You are a professional in Excel and Access and have experience in programming with VBA
- You plan your approach analytically and consciously set priorities
- You independently check the quality of your work results and manage your personal resources
- You have an innovative view of the future, adapt your working methods to digital requirements and recognize opportunities for further development
- You communicate appropriately, are convincing and self-confident and feel at home working in a team

Remuneration: Depending on your level of experience, your remuneration will be approx. 61,000 - 73,500 euros/year.
