Your Mission – What You’ll Be Doing
As Procurement Manager, you’ll own a portfolio of material categories.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders from Production, R&D, and Sales, as well as key suppliers, to drive strategic sourcing decisions to build a more agile & resilient supply chain and to unlock synergies.
Your key responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of supplier portfolio: manage performance, negotiate contracts and pricing
- Develop and execute category strategies that align with business goals
- Lead supplier assessments and establish long-term partnerships
- Conduct market intelligence and trend analysis to identify opportunities and risks
- Drive process improvements and support procurement digitization initiatives
- Collaborate in global sourcing and cross-functional initiatives
- Thrive in an evolving environment: many processes are not yet standardized, and part of your mission will be to bring structure, consistency, and best practices to how we work.
- Be a key player in our journey toward a more global, strategic, and forward-looking procurement organization.
 Your Profile – What You Bring to the Table
- 5 years of strategic procurement experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Strong expertise in contract negotiation, cost modeling, and TCO principles
- Confident working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills
- Fluent in German and English (C1 level)
- Comfortable working in unstructured environments and driving clarity through complexity
- Experience in transformation settings or supporting the shift from tactical to strategic/global procurement is a big plus
- Willingness to travel (national/international) as needed
