As we operate across multiple markets, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements is critical to our success and reputation. We are now looking for a Dispute Resolution Lawyer to strengthen our legal team and contribute to both local and group-wide legal matters.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling dispute resolution and litigation matters, while also supporting a broad range of legal areas, ensuring compliance across our markets. You will work closely with Group Legal and various business functions, playing a key role in safeguarding the bank’s legal integrity and minimizing legal risks.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the dispute resolution process in Poland, including establishing procedures for handling disputes both in and out of court.
  • Optimize collection rates and return on investment for disputed claims.
  • Collaborate closely with customer operations to provide legal support in complaint management.
  • Assist in implementing the strategy for handling non-performing loans (NPLs) in Poland.
  • Ensure compliance and manage first-line legal risks related to contract management, GDPR, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, and bank secrecy.
  • Deliver legal training on all relevant areas.
  • Provide legal support in contract reviews, labor law matters, and internal governance.
  • Assist Group Legal in various legal matters across the organization.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Law degree (Master of Law preferred).
  • Proven experience in dispute resolution, including litigation and administrative procedures.
  • Strong expertise in pre-collection processes and NPL management.
  • Preferably experience in the banking sector, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial regulations and legal frameworks.
  • Experience working in an international environment is an advantage.
  • Strong legal acumen, with a particular focus on dispute resolution and regulatory compliance.


Languages:


  • Fluent in German, Polish, and English.
