We are currently looking for a motivated colleague to join our AIS Fund Management Team, part of our Alternative Investments & Structuring Department within Alternative Investment – Real Assets. In this dynamic front office role, you will engage directly with clients, discussing their investments and leading Alternative Investment transactions. You will manage various projects — including managing subscriptions to target funds, direct investments, restructurings, and transfers — while driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with our high standards. Your contributions will be essential in building strong client relationships and navigating complex investment scenarios.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead Client Engagement: Act as a key point of contact in the front office, engaging directly with clients to discuss their investments and tailor solutions to meet their needs.
- Manage Investment Transactions: Oversee and coordinate Alternative Investment transactions, including direct investments, restructurings, and contributions-in-kind, ensuring effective execution and compliance.
- Project Management: Manage various projects related to alternative investments, maintaining clear communication with internal teams and external partners throughout the process.
- Conduct Due Diligence: Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate comprehensive due diligence efforts for all transactions.
- Drive Process Improvements: Analyze and recommend enhancements to existing processes, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness in transaction management.
- Prepare Documentation: Develop and maintain the necessary documentation related to transactions, ensuring clarity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support Relationship Building: Foster and strengthen relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing exceptional service and support throughout the investment lifecycle.
Your skills and experience:
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Alternative Investments, at a Big Four firm or fund institution.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related subject.
- Experience in project management and process structuring. ,
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in assessing investment opportunities and risks, with valuation experience considered a plus.
- Excellent negotiation skills to facilitate discussions with stakeholders and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Quick learner with excellent communication skills, able to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills for networking, communication, and interaction with internal and external parties; solution-oriented and proactive.
- Client-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Fluency in German and English.
