Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, you will lead engagements with autonomy and apply your analytical skills to deliver innovative solutions.
Our team in Germany offers a comprehensive suite of services, including development equity, M&A advisory, debt structuring, and strategic consulting, across various renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind (onshore and offshore), storage, and hydrogen. Key Responsibilities:
Lead advisory projects on financial structuring, debt raising, and M&A equity finance transactions.
Act as the main interface with clients, banks, and other stakeholders.
Supervise the preparation and management of financial models and cash flow valuations for renewable energy projects.
Oversee due diligence processes, coordinating internal team efforts and external advisory contributions.
Gather and share market intelligence on electricity, debt, and venture capital markets relevant to the renewable energy sector.
Drive business development by maintaining client relationships, expanding networks, and engaging with new prospects.
Collaborate within the team to share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
Requirements:
A master’s degree or equivalent, ideally in Finance or Engineering, with 8 years of relevant work experience.
Professional fluency in English and German (written and spoken).
Strong analytical skills and mastery of financial concepts, products, and modeling techniques for project finance (PF) and M&A transactions.
Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex ideas.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, showing initiative and accountability.
Willingness to work in cross-border teams and travel as needed.
Empathy and strong stakeholder management skills.
Relevant experience in the renewable energy sector and expertise in project or corporate finance.
