An exciting opportunity is waiting for you! Join World Courier as a Business Development Manager in the Frankfurt area. In this function you will be responsible for developing the growth potential of our Healthcare/Pharma customers.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Research potential customers and qualified contacts on his/her own accord
- Generate the first contact with potential customers and contacts;
- Build up customer base, visiting customers as well as potentials for sales-conversations and presentations
- Further the development of sales strategies for sales-area and perform market-analyses, keeping an eye on the competition
- Accept queries from customers and write offers with the support of Operations / Customer Service
- Represent the corporation at trade-fairs and conventions;
- Stay up to date with the newest developments in the market and new products or services of World Courier as well as of the competition.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or comparable education / experience
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably with specific industry experience and knowledge
- Fluency in German and good skills in English
- Experience with Value Based Selling methodology
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution
- Ability to interpret industry trends
- Natural Presentation and negotiation abilities
- Ability to collaborate and interact effectively with colleagues nationally and internationally
