Your mission
As a Process Engineer for Water Technology, you will be the leading expert on water treatment within our organization. Your mission is to develop, optimize, and implement cutting-edge processes that meet our exacting technical and sustainability needs. You’ll shape our water systems from the ground up—making strategic decisions that impact the entire production chain.
This is a senior, high-impact role for someone who combines deep technical knowledge with executional drive. You’ll manage projects from concept to commissioning and guide internal and external stakeholders along the way.
Your profile
Your Role
- Design, develop, and optimize advanced water treatment processes tailored to industrial applications.
- Lead experimental setups to validate process improvements and innovations.
- Own projects end-to-end—from concept development through commissioning and documentation.
- Maintain a hands-on role—conducting experiments, collecting data, and troubleshooting systems on-site.
- Analyze water quality data and translate insights into actionable process adjustments.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including process flow diagrams and system descriptions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external technology partners to identify, source, or co-develop bespoke or off-the-shelf water treatment solutions that meet our operational and environmental goals.
- Ensure all processes comply with applicable environmental and regulatory standards.
- Act as the subject matter expert, providing guidance across teams and establishing benchmarks for excellence.
- Develop tailored solutions through creative, intuitive problem-solving when standard approaches fall short.
Your Profile
We are looking for a
senior-level engineer who combines deep subject-matter expertise with a proven ability to lead complex projects.
- Degree in process engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience in industrial water treatment, membrane technology, and/or chemical/physical separation processes.
- Demonstrated success managing comparable engineering projects, ideally in production or manufacturing settings.
- Familiarity with process simulation and optimization software.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Proficient in German and English.
- Structured, analytical thinker with a team-oriented mindset.
