Job Posting for Head of Sales at Ably Resources Ltd
Our client is a high-profile group of companies involved construction, property, retail and the manufacture of quality building materials.
A senior manager is now required to devise sales strategies for various building material products, positioning the company in the appropriate markets and ensuring their brand is marketed appropriately.
Responsibilities in this role will include:
Strategizing with the senior leadership team and then managing and implementing sales efforts
Managing the Sales Team, setting targets, managing sales performance, overseeing daily operations together with establishing appropriate sales processes and training for the team.
Assisting with marketing strategies including campaigns, content writing, organisation of events etc
Assisting with branding strategies
Negotiating client and project contracts
Ensuring any opportunities are being effectively addressed, including tenders, communication with corporate clients; negotiating with cash clients etc
Researching new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services
Analysing sales performance data
Supporting Sales Managers and Credit Control to ensure relationships are strong and invoices are paid.
Talent will:
Demonstrate a strong history in a Business Development, Sales or Marketing Management role
Preferably have experience within products and services to the construction sector
Have excellent skills in sales strategy, analytics, marketing and communication
Possess a driving license
Be a confident and enthusiastic individual
Please note that this role is primarily Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm however occasionally working out of these hours will be required to attend events.
