Our Client is seeking a proactive and responsible Sales Representative to manage the daily operations in a standalone role. This position involves sales, stocking, and cashier duties, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth store operations. A valid Category B driving license (Maltese or International) is preferred but not mandatory. Basic training will be provided.
Sales & Customer Service:
Engage with customers, assist with product selection, and drive sales.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge to answer customer queries.
Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
Stocking & Inventory Management:
Receive, unpack, and organize stock in the store.
Ensure shelves are well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
Conduct periodic stock checks and report low inventory levels.
Coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishment if required.
Cashiering & Transactions:
Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
Process cash, card, and digital payments securely.
Maintain accurate daily sales records and reports.
Follow company policies regarding returns and refunds.
Other Responsibilities:
Open and close the store independently.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Previous experience in sales, retail, or cashiering is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer literacy for POS systems and inventory tracking.
A Category B driving license (Maltese or International) is a plus.
