The role:
The
Commercial Finance Analyst supports the Dutch Sales and FP&A teams in planning, analyzing, and reporting financial performance for key sales channels. This role is responsible for managing budgeting cycles, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance tracking. The analyst collaborates closely with Sales Directors, Revenue Management, and the Global Capability Center (GCC) to ensure accurate reporting, policy compliance, and financial insights that drive strategic decisions. Additionally, the role contributes to process improvements, supports special projects, and helps coach and coordinate with broader finance teams.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage channel budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans in alignment with Sales and Revenue Management.
- Track and report monthly channel performance, highlighting risks, opportunities, and key variances.
- Lead monthly/quarterly closings and financial analysis in coordination with GCC and Sales teams.
- Develop and present business cases, financial reports, and recommendations to sales leadership and FP&A.
- Monitor budget adherence, ensuring compliance with AB InBev policies and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with and coach the GCC team on compliance and FP&A processes.
- Communicate key FP&A updates and maintain alignment with the Commercial FP&A Manager NL.
- Drive and support revenue management initiatives and channel performance improvement plans.
- Lead or contribute to finance projects, excellence programs, and process/system enhancements.
- Provide cross-functional support during peak workloads and proactively flag team risks or issues.
Who we’re looking for:
- University degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field required.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 0–5 years of experience in analytical roles; ERP or multinational experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts, accounting, and business operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong stakeholder and project management skills; delivers on deadlines.
- High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a structured, results-driven approach.
