The Senior Data Manager will be part of Process & Technology organization in SN R&I, reporting to Systems & business process lead. The position is key to drive the data mindset change within our SN R&I organization.
With the ambition to become a more data driven organization, our mission is to build a strong data roadmap focusing on data availability, standardization & quality. With the end goal to gain data insights, using data analytics and valorize data modelling potentials.
The aim is to leverage our company product data to the full extend to make the design & development process more robust and efficient, and with that increase speed to market and right by design.
Your Main Responsibilities
The role and main responsibilities of the Senior Data Manager will be as follow
- Driving & building SN R&I Data strategy and roadmap
- Analyzing Product data bases to understand potential data value in Danone
- Leading global SN R&I community of data experts (Raw & Pack, Product Dev, Pack Dev, User eXperience), aligning and leveraging local & global data valorization initiatives and increase data expertise in SN R&I
- Acting as project leader for initiatives on current roadmap related to data, being shelf life data lake, raw material monitoring data lake, recipe impact assessment tool, document digitization tool, reporting tools on data inconsistencies; Supporting initiatives in User eXperience and Pack Dev related to data
- Aligning, agreeing and owning KPIs related Product Lifecycle Management and Data Quality
- Gathering SN R&I business needs for reporting & KPI dashboards and (co) build reports and dashboards in PowerBI for business teams
- Driving discussion on holistic needs for data driven solutions in SN R&I, translating into technical requirements for Data Science team and or IT Data & Analytics team to start build
- Align data quality & analytics requirements with relevant stakeholders inside and outside SN R&I, if comes to data sources owned by other functions, like QFS, OPS and Artwork
About you
- Preferable a MSc degree in direction of food technology / chemical engineering with a link to computer and data science
- 5-7 year working experience in Food Industry
- Ability to work in an international environment
- Ability to communicate with the different levels and functions in the organization
- Influencing and convincing power, project management skills and team player
- Capacity to create an internal network to find answers quickly
- Autonomy, initiative, and critical thinking
- Resilience and determination to make things happen
- Process & conceptual thinker with an analytical mindset
- Experience with conceptual & logical data model design
- Experience with computer programming and building BI solutions
- Domain knowledge and passion for data management and systems
