Due to growth and expansion GES Ltd are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Project Manager - Features, to join our team in Amsterdam.

Role Function

As the Project Manager - Features, you will support the Operations team, project managing (at senior level) for Exhibition organisers feature areas from brief to execution in a variety of formats including system builds and traditional construction with associated graphics systems.

The role is hybrid based in Amsterdam but will also include travel to major cities throughout Europe.

Main duties of the Project Manager - Features

  • Accept feature briefs from the account management team, and directly from clients when appropriate.
  • Using dedicated project management software create quotations.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met for briefing the creative team, preparing quotations and producing work orders.
  • Using dedicated project management software, process feature requirements and create work orders.
  • Ensure all communications are kept up to date and accessible on server.
  • Keep strong communication with Graphics Project Manager’s and Production department, keep updated with deadline/schedule changes.
  • Appoint and manage external suppliers where required.
  • Keep all files backed up in correct format and archived in line with the procedures in the dept.
  • Be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel

About You

Ideally you will have a certified Project Manager qualification or degree equivalent and experience within the exhibition and events industry.

You will have native or professional proficiency in English, excellent communication skills and keen eye for detail. You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Salary

This role offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience. We operate a reward strategy based on our team members receiving a salary that best reflects their experience and skill level.

Hours of work

Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm. On occasion you may be required to work evenings and weekends during busy periods to meet the demands of the business.

Annual leave

Our holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum (plus bank holidays and statutory public holidays).
