Our Legal team is at the forefront of ensuring compliance and safeguarding our customers’ and employees' data.The legal team at ICT Group is international in nature, bringing together diverse expertise and perspectives from different cultures, expertise’s and backgrounds. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Privacy Officer to join our Legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all data protection and privacy-related activities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and implementing best practices in data management

This is what you like to do

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining privacy policies and procedures in line with local and international data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Conducting regular privacy risk assessments and audits to identify potential areas of non-compliance and implementing corrective actions.
• Providing expert advice and guidance on privacy-related matters to internal stakeholders and ensuring that all company activities comply with data protection laws.
• Managing data breach incidents, conducting investigations, and coordinating responses to mitigate risks and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with IT and security teams to ensure data protection measures are integrated into all systems and processes.
• Delivering training and awareness programs to employees on data protection and privacy best practices.
• Monitoring changes in privacy laws and regulations and updating company policies accordingly.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for data protection authorities and managing relationships with regulatory bodies.

This is where you recognize yourself

• At least a bachelor's degree in law, information security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a privacy, data protection, or compliance role, preferably within a legal or IT environment.
• In-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex privacy issues and develop practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
