Central to this transformation is the need for advanced consolidation, forecasting, tax and reporting capabilities that provide real-time insights and support decision-making at all levels.

The IT department operates using an Agile scrum approach, where work is prioritized according to business needs and planned for delivery in release cycles. This ensures a continuous flow of improvements that align with business objectives and user requirements.

As a Business Analyst specializing in finance reporting, you will act as the key liaison between the finance team, other streams within IT and vendors ensuring the delivery of robust reporting solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze, design, test and implement reporting processes, with a strong focus on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Group Reporting. You will contribute to optimizing financial reporting, delivering actionable insights, and ensuring alignment with Mammoet's strategic objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborating with finance stakeholders to gather, define, and prioritize requirements for reporting and analytics solutions, ensuring these align with the backlog and release cycles.
• Designing and implementing reporting processes to enhance financial insights, with a focus on leveraging SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Group Reporting.
• Acting as the bridge between the finance team, other IT teams and vendors for translating business needs into technical solutions and ensuring seamless communication between all parties.
• Supporting Mammoet’s continuous improvement process by identifying and delivering enhanced reporting functionality through structured release-based delivery.
• Analyzing current reporting tools and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing scalable solutions.
• Providing expert advice on best practices for finance reporting and driving innovation in the reporting landscape.
• Ensuring features are delivered and aligned with Mammoet's definition of done.
  
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Expertise: Experience in finance reporting, including designing and implementing solutions with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)/ SAP Group Reporting or similar financial consolidation and reporting tools. Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes is essential.
• Skills: Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions; and effective communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience: Proven track record in delivering advanced reporting and analytics solutions, particularly in large and complex organizations. Experience with Agile way of working is highly desirable.
