The SAP Strategic Alliances Manager (SAM) is responsible for delivering revenue and pipeline fulfilment against a defined quota for SAP-related solutions in their assigned territory.
This role reports to the OpenText Director of SAP Business Development (EMEA). The Business Development function sits within the Alliances organization, reporting through to the VP Global Channels and Alliances at OpenText. The SAM territory assignment will align geographically to SAP BENELUX to ensure effective coverage of the partner’s field resources and GTM execution structure.
As SAP Strategic Alliance Manager at OpenText you will:
- Drive pipeline and revenue with SAP and the SAP partner ecosystem across the Benelux region.
- Support OT-SAP partner program management and thought leadership across SAP Benelux to increase revenue and drive business opportunities.
- Collaborate with SAP and OT Executive’s, Marketing, Sales and Presales teams to drive a successful partnership.
- Execute on defined tailored value propositions and create detailed go-to-market plans that strengthen our value proposition to the marketplace while providing new revenue opportunities.
- Serve as the partner advocate inside SAP Benelux.
- Build relationships within SAP Benelux sales teams to keep Open Text “front and centre” for appropriate opportunities.
You could be a great fit for this role if you have:
- Proven experience of alliances at a SaaS company, successfully demonstrating Channel/Field Alliances strategy to drive increased sales.
- A track record of exceeding sales revenue targets.
- Experience being a business leader who is able to influence and build strong relationships with decision makers across all levels of SAP and the SAP Ecosystem.
- Current knowledge of the trends and market leading companies in the broader Cloud Computing and Information Management solutions across the Benelux region.
- Experience with Cloud Software Vendors and their strategies/business models.
- A high degree of honesty, integrity and sound judgment.
You might also have:
- Good Understanding of and experience with SAP and SAP LOB Sales processes, information management solutions sales processes is an advantage.
- Network within the SAP community.
- BSc/BA degree or equivalent (preferred but not essential) or relevant industry experience.
