IT Network Administrator Shopfloor F-35 in Weeze (m/f/d)

Rheinmetall Aviation Services GmbH (RAS) is ready to enter a new market and is taking on new tasks in the aviation sector! We are starting to produce centre fuselage sections for the most advanced and capable fighter aircraft in the world, the F-35.

• Design, implementation and maintenance of corporate networks
• Configuring, optimising and monitoring high-availability network devices
• Ensuring network security by implementing firewalls, VPNs and other security measures
• Identifying and resolving network problems and implementing troubleshooting measures
• Planning and implementing network upgrades and migrations, and working with other teams to ensure the integration of new technologies and applications
• Creating and updating network documentation and guidelines

This position will start in Düsseldorf and continue in Weeze after the plant is completed.

• Successfully completed training or studies in the field of computer science, information technology or a comparable qualification
• Proven experience in network administration, ideally in a corporate environment with high cybersecurity requirements
• In-depth knowledge of configuring and managing network protocols and technologies, as well as network monitoring tools and techniques
• Experience in network security and with ISO layers 2 & 3
• Certifications in IT administration and knowledge of automation technology are an advantage
• Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
