Data Analyst

To strengthen its team and support the strong growth of its European Distribution Center, SKECHERS EDC is looking for a Data Analyst.

Your Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst, you will be at the heart of process analysis at our European Distribution Center. Your expertise will enable you to assess the efficiency of equipment, processes and teams while transforming raw data into exploitable information. You will respond to requests for analysis of operations and visualize the results in a clear manner.

Your role will be crucial in identifying and implementing improvements, in close collaboration with the Process Engineer team and Operations. You will also provide valuable support for projects by supplying accurate and relevant data.

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining tools to improve the day-to-day management of operations. This includes developing and optimizing dashboards using Power BI, as well as designing customized productivity tools. You will ensure that these tools are running smoothly, quickly resolving any problems that may arise. You will collaborate effectively with the Operations and IT teams to define the technical solutions for fulfilling the business needs.

Finally, you will be expected to be proactive in proposing continuous improvements to optimize our processes and tools.

Profile Required

• You have a bachelor’s degree in industrial or equivalent ;
• You have at least 2 years' experience in an operational environment; experience in a distribution and logistics center is an asset ;
• You have a real understanding of operational processes and data analysis ;
• Your expertise in developing and maintaining analysis and reporting tools will be essential ;
• You have excellent analytical thinking skills ;
• You are at your ease with MS Office (particularly Excel), MS Project, Visio and you are an expert in Power BI; familiarity with WMS and WCS systems is also required ;
• You have a good knowledge of different industrial engineering methodologies such as motion studies, space planning, root cause analysis;
• You are able to work in English (Minimum C1) and French (Minimum B1-B2) ;
• You are very solution and results-oriented, and you communicate effectively with your various contacts ;
• You are organized and rigorous ;
• You have a positive attitude and a good team spirit.
