Graduation Assignment (Bachelor’s Level) – Logistics

You’ll carry out the assignment at one or more of our logistics locations, with the option to work from home part of the time.

We are currently working on an ambitious strategic plan to make our logistics chain more sustainable and future-proof for the coming decades. As a key player, you will work closely with our specialists to develop a strategic improvement plan.

You will take responsibility for investigating one of the following topics:

• Packaging registration: Design a process to register the increasing number of reusable load carriers (Alphen aan den Rijn)
• Deliveries >120cm: Research the impact and create an implementation plan for the storage and handling of pallets stacked higher than 120cm (Alphen aan den Rijn & Strijen)
• PPWR: Investigate the administrative and operational changes Technische Unie needs to make to comply with the new packaging legislation (Alphen aan den Rijn)
• Last-mile purchasing: Implement logistics guidance for incoming goods (Alphen aan den Rijn & Amstelveen)
• Complete deliveries: Explore the possibilities and impact of preventing partial deliveries (Alphen aan den Rijn & Amstelveen)
• Loading scans: Conduct a feasibility analysis of introducing loading scans for drivers at all transfer points (likely in Zwolle & Nijkerk)
