About the function

You monitor the quality of metal products and compliance with the agreed quality requirements. This concerns high-quality metal products such as sheet metal, welded assemblies and machine parts.The challenge is that we ensure the continuity of our customers in close collaboration with the production departments. Our laser, bending and welding robots are an important part of the production process, but quality and quality awareness remain human work! In addition to control and inspection, you also have a coaching role to ensure that we continuously improve and continue to achieve good customer performance. You are also the point of contact for quality-related questions from production.

The client is located in Alphen aan de Rijn, between Leiden and Utrecht. It is a well known Metal company with 100 year of history. “No one is just a number to us. We find equality and openness and honesty very important. We look after each other and are there for each other.

What we need

• Carrying out quality checks (initial, intermediate and final checks, as well as customer purchases and checks at suppliers)
• Checking products according to standards
• Measuring products and production molds
• Drawing up and recording measurement methods
• Support for corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with production
• Report risks and deviations
• Initiate initiatives for continuous improvement in collaboration with the quality manager

What we offer

• Between 620 and 650 gros per week, depending on knowledge and experience, excluded overtime or shifts.
• Plus travel allowance 0,23 per KM
