As Systems Engineer VQD, you will be responsible for developing and enabling new features, supporting the application, and solving business problems by designing the best solutions. You will be working as integral part of an agile team, owning end-to-end delivery in the Veeva VQD area.
This includes managing the infrastructure supporting product, understanding and designing systems architecture, and systems connectivity. Key responsibilities include solution design, implementation management, infrastructure management, and continuous improvement.
Systems Engineer VQD requires business expertise in various areas to achieve anticipated objectives. This includes technical proficiency, deep industry knowledge, commercial awareness, solution design and architecture capabilities, understanding of compliance and risk management, and strong problem-solving skills. This expertise enables innovation, informed decision-making and successful development and implementation of VQD.
Develop and build IT solutions for VQD.
Contribute to the design and architecture of VQD and Quality Vault.
Propose technical solutions aligned with organizational policies.
Address and resolve complex bugs and technical issues.
Provide support for complex user issues.
Guide technical support for incidents and problems.
Understand business processes, systems, and objectives.
Partner with support and delivery teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Guide business decisions and priorities for issue resolution.
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure for VQD.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementation or maintenance as IT technical support, IT systems design and development.
IT background necessary to quickly triage problems and propose solutions.
Experience in the Pharma Quality (preferred), Clinical, Regulatory or Safety spaces.
Proven ability to work in self-organized teams in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
Strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
Strong communication skills to work in a complex global application environment.
Excellent command of English.
University degree in Computer Science / Computer Systems / Industrial Engineering / Software Development.
Direct experience with Veeva Quality Vault (VQD or QMS).
Knowledge or experience of Quality processes and / or applications.
Ability to learn new concepts, systems, and software independently and quickly.
Knowledge of DevOps processes and tools.
Ability to prioritise competing tasks and ensure smooth response to incoming demands.
