Training and Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for the maintaining of all aircrew records within the Company Qualification Management System (QMS), in order to safeguard the training and operational compliance on behalf of the respective AOCs within CHC. Required to maintain an overview of planned & completed training and identify any issues that may compromise compliance to the Manager Crew Training of respective AOCs.
- Guarding aircrew training compliance by keeping track of aircrew training due dates in the quality management system (QMS) (Pelesys)
- Liaise with the training and flight operations planners to forecast and coordinate and plan all initial and recurrent training
- Works closely with local pilots to ensure travel bookings are secured and last minute adjustments are secured
- Enrol and book aircrew for any tests, including medicals, or training on various courses in the LMS Pelesys or with third-party training providers as determined by the requirement of individual AOCs and working in collaboration with their respective flight operations and training planners.
- This includes internal courses (Pelesys), or with third-party providers, including DG awareness, WDD / HUET / EBS, fire, and first aid.
- Frequent auditing ensuring that training folder records are correctly completed and match the Company QMS. This includes supporting the AOCs on formal audits.
- Immediately upon becoming aware of any aircrew check or mandatory training that has expired, immediately inform the MCT of the respective AOC
- Coordinating all course and primary point of contact for license paperwork for submission to the National Aviation Authority, including payment of associated fees
- Raising of purchase requisitions in support of the training department from respective AOCs
- Uploading courses and LSI / FSI / TFSI into Pelesys
- Processing and archiving training records and forms
- Creating course certificates and tracking down required documents to be uploaded into the QMS
- Performing / managing additional tasks, duties, and projects assigned by their manager or respective AOC
EXPERIENCE
- 2 years’ experience as a process administrator is preferred.
- Analysis and compliance with an Air Operating Certificate (AOC).
- Analysis and compliance with aviation regulations.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluent English speaking and writing is required
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- For candidates lacking a degree, employer will accept 2 years of experience. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, experience or training consistent with the above.
