This role sits at the heart of our LSEG D&A Operational organisation where the core customer product building blocks are generated and will influence collectively how the entire LSEG D&A Ops group functions to curate, process and generate data.
Commitment to continuously reviewing and understanding the evolution of Financial markets, their data and attributes to apply the associated impact of regulation on the LSEG D&A Ops teams will require collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure pragmatic and realistic decisions are acted upon appropriately.
ROLE SUMMARY:

This role will evolve the maturity of Financial Content Operations Governance policy adoption in preparation for DORA and other future regulatory adoption whilst meeting wider LSEG policy obligations.

Translating business or organisational requirements into tangible specifications for action across FCO and relevant partners.

Aligning to common standards and themes around data design and structures ensuring that standard methodologies are in place to present information about FCO real-estate (data, databases, data flows, sources, and processes) to any interested audit parties.

Support the user community through use of domain specific expertise to ensure that all mechanisms to assess and report on progress towards ensuring compliance with the set of governance principles.
WORKSTYLE MODEL
We know balance is the key, therefore we propose hybrid way of working. You are welcome to work from our brand-new office every day, but you have still an opportunity to stay at home if needed. In this position you can work 2 days a week from home.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Working with Data Trust, GORP and other teams to implement LSEG Group Operating Policies.

Manage the definition of data dictionaries, business glossaries, data quality for all FCO data-sets.

Review, audit and improve the insight into all inventories gathered to describe our real-estate.

Continuously improve the scale and accuracy of our insight whilst driving simplification.
-
Report on status of maturity on Governance curve.

Simplify the overall support effort of this data governance function.

Drive adoption of all governance activities into relevant FCO teams.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

An ability to apply critical thinking when assessing the implications of policies on Financial Content Operations

Showcased a strong grasp of at least 2 datasets inside FCO
-
Present information in logical, concise, contextual way which engages all groups.

SQL, Python, or PowerBI skills desirable

Demonstrated passion and understanding of what Governance means for an operational organisation

Proven skills for influencing others and building strong partnerships with key personnel at all levels of the group

Knowledge of process mapping and data structures
