Warehouse Manager

Location: Bydgoszcz, Poland

For our client we are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Warehouse Manager.

About the Role

Leading, planning and coordination of large, production warehouse activities to secure internal and external customer orders, as well as improving material flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision, controlling and planning warehouse activities based on company strategy.
• Managing warehouse team by controlling tasks realization, goals set up, preparing development plans and training, carrying out performance appraisal and monitoring time, as well as managing workforce capacity between different areas and product lines.
• Warehouse documentation supervision.
• Preparation and leading annual stock take.
• Securing proper workforce to manage material flow for all processes (external, internal and within factory) according to company standards and policy.
• Monitoring warehouse process and reacting to deviations.
• Securing safety conditions within warehouse.
• Cooperation with other departments within exchange data and information, as well as support of company goals related to other departments.
• Acting according to quality systems implemented by the company including creation, modification and revision of warehousing procedures and cooperation in preparation and modification of other procedures which have an impact on warehouse.
• Compliance with EHS regulations and policy and active support to improve company safety, as well as compliance with 5S standard within department and active participation in 5S initiatives.

What You Need

• Experience in large warehouse management in a production company.
• Strong leadership ability.
• University degree.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (preferably SAP).
• Fluency in English.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent knowledge of warehouse documentation.
