Hadoop Support Engineer

Project Informations:

• Industry: banking
• Location: Gdansk or Gdynia (hybrid; 1 day per week in the office)
• Rate: up to 170 PLN/H net vat, B2B
• Project language: English, Polish

We are looking for an experienced Hadoop Support Engineer to support the CBA Downstream area (CBA Hadoop ecosystem). The successful candidate will be responsible for handling and solving all Downstream-related production incidents while leveraging their knowledge of big data and cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support for CBA Hadoop ecosystem in the Downstream area
• Manage and resolve production incidents in a timely manner
• Ensure the system's performance and efficiency

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven Hadoop experience and strong analytical thinking
• In-depth knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem
• Proficiency in programming languages for writing efficient code
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with data mining and machine learning
• Hands-on experience with big data concepts and cloud computing
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A continuous learning attitude to stay updated with the latest technologies
