Motion Designer (Rive) – mobile application ZEN.com

Job Description:

We are looking for a Motion Designer who will help us create smooth, engaging, and modern experiences in the Zen.com mobile app. Your main tool will be Rive – experience with this tool is essential. You will be responsible for designing animations that support UX and implementing them in collaboration with the product team and developers.

Location: Poland (Remote) OR from one of our offices (Rzeszów, Kraków, Gdańsk, Białystok, Toruń)

What you’ll do at ZEN:

• Creating UI animations (microinteractions, loading screens, screen transitions, animated component states) using Rive, with a focus on the mobile app.

• Designing consistent motion patterns that enhance the user experience in the Zen.com app.

• Collaborating with UX/UI designers, the product team, and mobile developers (iOS/Android) to integrate animations into the app.

• Participating in discovery processes – proposing animation concepts that support business goals and user needs.

• Optimizing animations for performance and responsiveness in a mobile environment.

• Ultimately, creating and developing a motion design system as part of the Zen.com design system.

• Ensuring the quality, consistency, and attention to detail throughout the entire user experience.

What we’re looking for:

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge and practical experience with Rive (a must-have).

• Experience working with mobile products (iOS, Android).

• Knowledge of animation principles (12 principles of animation) and their application in user interfaces.

• A portfolio with examples of animations created in Rive – preferably for mobile applications.

• Ability to collaborate with developers and understanding of the animation implementation process in code (basic integration knowledge is a plus).

• Strong communication skills, independence, and a focus on iterative solution testing.
