Job Summary:
The Head of Sales is responsible for leading and executing BytePitch’s sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and ensuring a high-performing and sustainable sales process. The ideal candidate has a strong background in product and/or software engineering services, a proven track record in sales leadership and the drive and desire to empower a growing team that helps to unlock the power within the company and the clients.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a sales strategy aligned with BytePitch’s purpose, vision, values and growth objectives.

Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities in international markets.

Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Lead, support and empower the sales team, communicating clear targets and setting the right conditions for the team to meet expectations and achieve a high-performance state.

Leverage CRM tools and data to construct, forecast, and oversee sales activity and drive pipeline to meet targets and company goals.

Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align go-to-market strategies.

Combine efforts with the engineering and product teams to ensure that the solutions presented to clients are technically and commercially aligned.

Cooperate closely with the CFO and report to this when needed.

Optimise sales processes, leveraging automation and best practices to improve efficiency.

Stay informed on industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activities to refine sales approaches.

Work closely with the leadership team to provide input on the growth of the business and align revenue strategy with overall company objectives.

Recruit, develop, and retain talent, empowering the team to unlock their potential while fostering individual and collective growth.
Minimum Requirements:

Ability to build, lead and mentor a happy sales team.

Excellent communication and active listening skills, as well as high self-awareness and emotional intelligence.

Proven experience in sales leadership ( 5 years of experience) within the software services industry.

Strong background in business development, client management, and deal negotiation.

Strategic thinker with solid data skills and the ability to analyse sales metrics, optimise performance, and adapt processes as needed.

Experience in international markets and a track record of closing complex deals.

Fluency in English.
