Data Scientist - Generative AI (relocation to Belgium)

We are looking for a Data Scientist - Generative AI who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Belgium.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement AI applications using cutting-edge Generative AI technologies.
• Translate complex business requirements into actionable AI solutions and applications.
• Deploy prototypes to production environments, collaborating with IT to ensure scalable and reliable systems.
• Explore data to identify high-value use cases and leverage visualization techniques to extract insights.
• Pilot prototypes within production processes to showcase their business value.
• Communicate results effectively to cross-functional project teams, preparing clear and actionable presentations.
• Collaborate with business experts, IT teams, and fellow Data Scientists to gather requirements, process data, and share knowledge for continuous improvement of AI use case delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

• PhD or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in an AI-focused business environment.
• Strong expertise in the end-to-end AI project lifecycle, including:
• Translating business needs into data solutions.
• Data exploration and visualization.
• Feature engineering and model fitting.
• Deploying scalable AI applications into production.

Technical Skills:

• Strong coding skills in Python, with proficiency in best practices like version control (Git) and DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure AI Services.
• Knowledge of frameworks like LangChain and/or LangGraph for creating Generative AI agents.
• Deep understanding of statistical methods and state-of-the-art AI techniques.
• Familiarity with the telecommunications sector is a plus.
