Summary:
The present notice is intended to fill one (1) post of a contract (Reference ISQ_CTI_15), under the Investimento RE-C05-i02 – Missão Interface N. º03/C05-i02/2022 Contrato de Financiamento de Beneficiário Final Financiamento Base – Centro de Tecnologia e Inovação, for the exercise of applied scientific research and innovation activities in the scientific area of Computer Science and engineering, or related engineering areas. The work plan will focus on the development of innovation projects related to Edge computing and cloud computing processes and technologies. The activities will involve the development of R&D projects, provision of services, and technology and knowledge transfer actions.

Admission Requirements:
National, foreign and stateless candidates may apply to the competition if they hold a Master’s degree in computer science and engineering, or related engineering areas, and if they have a scientific and professional curriculum vitae that reveals a profile that is appropriate for the activity to be developed. If the Master’s degree has been conferred by a foreign higher education institution, it must comply with the respective registration or recognition formalities, which must be fulfilled by the date of hiring.

Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge and experience in:

• AR/VR applications and integrate them with other developments created by our team;
• Digital monitorization of infrastructure(s) via object recognition;
• Create and customize textures, UI and UX specifications, layouts, and mobile interfaces;
• 3D modelling (Blender or Maya or CAD software);
• GitHub, Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience in collaborative projects with Industry, Research and Development and knowledge transfer.

Workplace:
The work will be developed at Instituto de Soldadura e Qualidade (ISQ), Avenida Professor Dr. Cavaco Silva, 33 Taguspark, 2740-120 Porto Salvo.

Amount of monthly maintenance allowance:
The employee to be hired will be entitled to an employment contract with a fixed annual salary which could reach level 32 of the Single Remuneration Table, in accordance with the Curriculum Vitae and the experience presented and proven.
Payment will be made by bank transfer.

Selection Method:
Curricular evaluation in which the following factors will be considered:
i) Relevance of the academic curriculum (40%);
ii) Relevant previous experience in work foreseen in the work plan of this competition (40%).
iii) Other relevant merits (20%);
If the jury deems it necessary, the three candidates best ranked according to the previous criteria may be called for an interview. If the interview takes place, the percentage appreciation will be 90% for the curriculum evaluation and 10% for the interview.
