Job Summary – What To Expect
As Regional Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for guiding the implementation of the customer specific business plans. You’ll achieve customer revenue targets by motivating and developing a team of 8 sales professionals, made up of 4 Business Development Managers and 4 Promotors.
We’ll be looking at you and your team to grow the category, execute joint business plans and deliver exceptional customer leadership.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Ensuring the achievement of the annual and quarterly sales financial objectives.
- Training and motivating the team to execute JBP in stores.
- Influencing and inspiring BDM’s to change the mindset of ECP (reactive to proactive).
- Make sure the goal of calls is achieved.
- Co-travelling every quarter with each BDM to improve them.
- Work collaboratively with RSM senior and KAM to create and implement new actions.
- Managing business with KA´s in Portugal (visit HQ´s, negotiations, co-creation CBP).
- Organizing frequent meetings to ensure productivity.
- Define and implement the short, medium and long term plans which reflect the marketing strategy and provide for the achievement of CooperVision’s goals and objectives.
- To seek out new business opportunities within the independent and multiple optical sector within the designated area.
- Keep SFDC updated according to the company standards.
- Maintain high level of commitment, work ethic and professionalism within field team driven by a positive culture.
- Self-Ongoing improvement to deliver great performance.
- Any other related duties arising from the Company’s business.
- Ensure all sales team achieve coverage plan.
About You
We are looking for an experienced sales leader who has successfully led field teams in the past, as well as having their own set of customers to manage.
Someone who is naturally driven, hungry for results and is passionate about developing teams into high performing teams is someone we’d love to hear from.
Whilst our industry may be different to what you’ve experienced in the past, we’re very keen to hear from those that have worked within an FMCG / healthcare or similar industries.
Strong communication, influencing and people skills are a must for this role as well as someone who thrives from working under pressure and has a continuous improvement mindset
