Responsibilities Develop and implement sophisticated machine learning models and algorithms to extract insights from large, diverse data sets; Collaborate with business leaders to understand their data and analytics needs, translating them into effective solutions; Mentor and guide junior data scientists, supporting technical growth and career development; Stay updated on the latest trends in data science, machine learning, and AI, recommending innovative approaches; Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, presenting findings clearly; Ensure data integrity, model accuracy, and quality of deliverables; Contribute to the development of the company's data science infrastructure and tools. Requirements Experience with Data Visualization tools: Qlik Sense, Qlik View, PowerBI, Tableau; Strong understanding of design principles and translating requirements into technical specifications; Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a data scientist or similar role, preferably in a multinational environment; Experience leading and mentoring data science teams; Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka; Strong self-management and problem-solving skills; Knowledge of data management (ETL) and Snowflake is preferred; Experience with agile methodologies; Excellent communication and teamwork skills; Fluency in English is mandatory; European Union citizenship or Portuguese work visa/residency; Availability to attend the office once a week.
