IT Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Business Analyst to join us at Bithat Solutions, part of ASEE Romania. In this position, you will play a key role in bridging business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the successful delivery of our digital solutions, both custom-developed and COTS. You will work closely with customers to analyze and document their requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and collaborate with development teams to implement efficient and scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead analysis sessions with the customer to extract, analyze and document business requirements;
• Act as a bridge between customers and development teams, ensuring they understand the business needs to develop new functionalities;
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria
• Propose functionalities that exist in the portfolio to cover business requirements and acceptance criteria;
• Create detailed and structured documentation like use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, user manuals;
• Create diagrams to describe the processes, interactions between processes and use cases
• Present implemented solutions to the client, assisting him in UAT;
• Perform testing in collaboration with QA to validate requirements are met.

Required knowledge and experience:

• Solid experience as a Business Analyst in a digital product environment;
• Experience in creating wireframes/ mock-ups for software solutions;
• Knowledge of process modeling methods: UML, flowcharts;
• Solid analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and organization skills;
• Strong communication skills and previous client-facing experience;
• Experience with Waterfall and/or Agile delivery models;
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Jira, Confluence;
• Familiarity with SQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL);
• Prior experience in the public sector is a plus.
