Qualifications:

Job summary You will be working in the design & engineering department undertaking pipe detail design activities for newbuild and retrofit / conversion projects. You will be required to deeply understand piping design principles, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and strong communication skills to coordinate with other departments. Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering • Minimum 2 years experience in piping design or marine engineering design environment • Fully conversant with P&ID schemes and diagrams • Good use of English language, especially industry specific terms

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities: • Applying typical or specific knowledge and engineering principles and practices within his/her discipline; • Develop 3D models based on P&ID schemes and diagrams; • Develop detail and production drawings; • Applying only controlled design or engineering tools and methods (calculation spreadsheets, etc) for the execution of the assigned project activity; • Checking / reviewing own work before submitting any deliverable for internal checking process.
