Remote SAP PP Consultant for a global IT services company

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP Consultant to support a major automotive manufacturing client in Europe. This role focuses on production planning, process optimization, and user enablement in SAP environments, including change management from legacy systems. The role requires occasional travel within Europe (up to 10 days/month) and is offered on a one-year fixed-term contract. Candidates must be based in Romania and be available to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and support production planning processes in the automotive manufacturing industry
• Lead change management initiatives from legacy systems to SAP PP
• Train and support power users and end users across Europe (e.g., Spain, Czech Republic, UK)
• Develop clear training material and demos in SAP
• Provide proactive support and consulting in repetitive manufacturing processes
• Ensure integration with other SAP modules as needed
• Communicate effectively in English with international stakeholders

Requirements

• Solid understanding of production planning and control processes, especially in automotive manufacturing
• Proven experience working with SAP PP
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to guide and convince users through system changes
• Experience in repetitive manufacturing and SAP module integration
• Proactive, consultative, and confident approach
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to travel up to 10 days/month within Europe
• Based in Romania
