As a
Senior Product-Driven Software Engineer on the
Adoption team, you’ll play a key role in driving
n8n’s adoption and retention by building features that enhance user engagement.
Example of features the team has shipped
- Content creator platform - Helping users share and discover automations more easily
- n8n AI assistant - Helping users debug workflows and help with credentials
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
- Collaborate closely with product and design – You engage in discussions about feature scope, provide technical input, and help refine ideas before they’re built.
- Outcome-focused work– You don’t just ship features; you care about their impact on users and iterate based on real feedback.
- Balancing trade-offs – You make smart decisions between speed and robustness, knowing when to build quick experiments vs. scalable solutions.
- Data-informed decisions – You use analytics, A/B testing, or user feedback to guide technical choices and product direction.
- Iteration, iteration, iteration– You believe in shipping small, testable improvements rather than over-engineering upfront.
What You’ll Bring
- You are a product-minded full-stack engineer who cares about delivering value to the end user.
- You have 5 years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, ideally working on deep tech products.
- You have solid experience with React or Vue on the frontend.
- You’re curious and you love learning new things
- You value feedback, believe in continuous learning, and enjoy working with others to create a positive team environment
- Bonus points for:
- Experience with cloud computing (Docker, Kubernetes) and an understanding of compilers/parsers
- Experience building microservices
- Familiarity with LangChain or AI-driven application development
- Interest for open source
