Responsibilities

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC) acts as a business solutions center for Société Générale, one of the largest European financial groups. We provide high quality professional services in over 35 countries in various business areas - Finance & Accounting, HR, IT and Corporate Operations. The team is part of the Financial EQD department. It supports and enhances the Forex business activity on Liquidity Management Agency perimeter. LMA is a trading activity in charge of providing liquidity for its clients and hedging their portfolio to cover their forex risks daily. The team is managing FX products (spots, forwards, swaps). The pre-trade platform consists of a suite of microservices used to integrate deals, compute the hedging, booking the deals, and reporting the operations for its clients.

What you will do:

• Discuss, understand and document client business requirements to support software and business process development;
• Have a keen eye for details - writing clear acceptance criteria, functional and technical documentation is second nature to you;
• Create user stories and participate in the testing phases to validate the deliveries before production;
• Provide L3 support on application in Production environment, when needed;
• Drive innovation and contribute with new ideas for the existing architecture, services and processes;
• Maintain a close relationship with the international team and ensure the delivery of high quality features.
  
  

Required

Profile required

• Good domain knowledge in capital markets and investment banking, 5 years of experience;
• FX products knowledge is a plus: FX spots, FX forwards, FX swaps;
• Understand and apply agile practices;
• Database SQL knowledge - ability to query and interact with the datastore;
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent;
• Good command of English, both written and spoken with the ability to participate in English-only meetings.
