QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a Middle Automation QA Engineer to join our team. The Middle Automation QA Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. This role involves creating and maintaining automated test scripts, identifying bugs, and working closely with development teams to improve the overall software development lifecycle. The Middle Automation QA Engineer should have a strong understanding of programming language, testing frameworks, and continuous integration (CI) tools, while also ensuring the system meets all specified requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing new tests for regression scope and new features
• Collaborate with the developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience
• Analyze and document test results, provide feedback, and recommend improvements.
• Support the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline with automated test integration.
• Troubleshoot issues and work with developers to fix bugs in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2 years’ experience of automation testing;
• Experience in creation/execution of test documentation (checklist, test cases);
• Understanding of Continuous Integration principles;
• Understanding of microservice architecture;
• Excellent knowledge of HTTP/REST, GraphQL (Postman/Fiddler/Charles);
• Experience with testing of Web and API applications;
• Experience in regression testing;
• Principles of automation testing; used patterns and best practices;
• Understanding of XPath/CSS locating strategies;
• Experience with web-automation on JavaScript;
• Good experience with any of Selenium-based automation testing framework (Webdriver.io/Protractor) or Cypress or Playwright.
• Experience/Ability to drive automation testing;
• Experience with CI tools (GitLab, etc).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with React applications;
• Experience with setup automation framework from scratch.
• Experience in gambling or gaming projects
• Experience with docker containers.
