Social Media Automation Engineer

We are currently looking for a Social Media Automation Engineer to join our Research & Development team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a role aimed at enhancing our social media automation capabilities through AI-driven solutions and API integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement automated workflows for publishing text posts, comments, photos and videos on Twitter and other social media platforms.
• Utilise the Twitter API (v2) for seamless integration, including media uploads, likes, and retweets.
• Optimise video and image uploads, ensuring efficient handling of MP4, MOV, and other media formats.
• Enhance automation by implementing AI-based engagement strategies, including intelligent selection of comments and interaction tracking.
• Debug, optimise, and log API interactions, ensuring efficient request handling and error management.
• Work with proxy servers and rate limits to bypass platform restrictions effectively.

Requirements:

• 1 years of experience in software development, particularly in social media automation.
• Proficiency in Python (Junior or Middle level), including experience with requests, tweepy, httpx, and other API interaction libraries.
• Experience with AI: Understanding of prompt engineering principles and fine-tuning AI models.
• Familiarity with social media APIs (Twitter, reddit, telegram API v2 preferred) and their rate limits, authentication mechanisms (OAuth 1.0a, OAuth 2.0).
• Basic knowledge of browser automation tools like Puppeteer or Playwright (preferred, but not mandatory).
• Experience working with media files in Python: Uploading, processing, and encoding videos and images.
• Strong debugging and optimisation skills, including handling API errors and implementing asynchronous programming.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and HTML.
• Experience with FastAPI or Flask for building API services.
• Knowledge of Redis for asynchronous task processing.
• Understanding of proxy servers for managing network restrictions.
