Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to protect and enhance the security of next-generation automotive software systems. As vehicles become increasingly connected and software-defined, your role will be critical in safeguarding vehicle communication, firmware, and control systems from evolving threats. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the implementation of cybersecurity features in embedded automotive systems, including:
- Secure onboard communication using Standard Security Architecture (SSA) with asymmetric cryptography (e.g., AES-128)
- Secure diagnosis and authentication using Chain of Trust certificates
- Secure flash and secure boot with rollback protection
- Secure logging with NvM storage and circular buffers
- HSM key storage and management with asynchronous jobs
- Configure software applications using DaVinci Configurator (RTE, SSA, Crypto modules such as CSM, Crypto Driver, CryIf)
- Setup and manage HSM to perform cryptographic operations
- Use tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, and CAPL scripting for analysis, debugging, and validation
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external clients for planning and resolving on-the-field security issues
• Perform threat analysis and risk assessments aligned with ISO/SAE 21434
• Participate in debugging sessions and support customer issues related to security integration
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in automotive cybersecurity, ideally in autonomous driving or embedded software domains
• Strong knowledge of secure communication, cryptographic primitives, and embedded systems architecture
• Proficiency with configuration tools (e.g., DaVinci Configurator) and automotive development environments
• Hands-on experience with HSMs, secure boot, secure diagnostics, and flash protection
• Familiarity with ISO/SAE 21434, ISO 26262, and cybersecurity development best practices
• Solid coding skills in C/C and/or scripting in Python or CAPL
