Responsibilities
Direct and manage all phases of design projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints
Establish and implement project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance team efficiency
Lead cross-functional teams, facilitating communication between design, product, and engineering departments
Monitor project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to overcome obstacles
Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to stakeholders, highlighting milestones and addressing concerns
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through feedback mechanisms and performance metrics
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
10 years of experience in project management within the design industry
Proven track record managing complex design projects with multiple stakeholders
Strong understanding of design principles and methodologies, with the ability to translate them into actionable project plans
Exceptional leadership skills, with experience building high-performing teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all levels
Preferred:
Advanced degree in Design Management, Project Management, or a related field
Experience with Agile project management methodologies
Familiarity with design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, or Jira)
Ability to analyze project data and generate reports for continuous improvement
Strong understanding of user-centered design processes and methodologies
