Executive Designer

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all phases of design projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints
• Establish and implement project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance team efficiency
• Lead cross-functional teams, facilitating communication between design, product, and engineering departments
• Monitor project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to overcome obstacles
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to stakeholders, highlighting milestones and addressing concerns
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through feedback mechanisms and performance metrics

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

• 10 years of experience in project management within the design industry
• Proven track record managing complex design projects with multiple stakeholders
• Strong understanding of design principles and methodologies, with the ability to translate them into actionable project plans
• Exceptional leadership skills, with experience building high-performing teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all levels

Preferred:

• Advanced degree in Design Management, Project Management, or a related field
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies
• Familiarity with design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, or Jira)
• Ability to analyze project data and generate reports for continuous improvement
• Strong understanding of user-centered design processes and methodologies
