As a Door Host, you are the first point of contact for our guests. Your role is to provide a warm and welcoming experience from the moment guests arrive, setting the tone for their visit. You will manage guest flow, handle reservations, and ensure that every guest feels valued and taken care of.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor as they arrive
Manage waiting lists and reservations using the restaurant’s booking system
Escort guests to their tables and present menus
Answer basic questions about the menu, hours offering, and restaurant policies
Communicate effectively with servers and management to ensure smooth seating transitions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance, lobby and host stand
Assist with crowd control during busy times
Handle guest complaints or direct them to management when necessary
Provide guests with estimated wait times and keep them updated
Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, outgoing, and professional appearance
Ability to stay calm and composed in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role is a plus
Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
