Job Posting for Scientist / Senior Scientist I, ETM/EL, NMC at A*STAR Agency for Science, Technology and Research
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research and development in Li-ion battery diagnostics through electrical/electrochemical methods.
Collaborate with other teams to implement methods, models and algorithms for rapid and accurate grading of lithium-ion battery (LiB) performance for second-life applications.
Assist in engaging industry partners to secure interest and resources and ensure the project remains relevant to industry needs.
Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in battery diagnostics, EV charging, and related fields.
Requirements:
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
Proven experience in Li-ion battery or related fields.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with advanced battery diagnostic tools and techniques.
Knowledge of Li-ion battery degradation behaviour and characterization.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to EV charging and battery technologies.
Familiarity with BMS, EV charging systems or electrical grid technologies.
Familiarity with data analysis and modeling software.
