Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance Operations Lead to join our dynamic finance team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and driving the efficient operation and maintaining strong controls of our finance processes and systems.

The role will involve ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, managing finance operations teams, and supporting key business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in finance operations, process controls and improvement, accounting and cross-functional collaboration within a multinational and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Process Management:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, enhancing efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of data availability for stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.
• Develop and maintain financial procedures and documentation to ensure strong control, consistency and accuracy in daily operations.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting, procurement, and legal, to ensure seamless integration of finance operations.
  
  

Systems & Automation:

• Lead efforts to optimize financial systems and tools for enhanced automation and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain financial systems, reporting tools, and ERP solutions.
• Identify and implement best practices in finance technology to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks.
  
  

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance operations team.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.
• Conduct performance reviews, set individual goals, and provide feedback to team members to support their professional growth.
  
  

Compliance & Audit:

• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal financial policies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure the finance operations function aligns with these updates.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or similar qualification is a plus).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance operations or accounting, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Singaporean financial regulations and tax laws (knowledge and experience with ASEAN countries is a plus).
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, NetSuite, Coupa, Kyriba, etc) and finance automation tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, process management skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Experience working with c-suite is a plus.
• Experience in a multinational or rapidly growing company is a plus.
