We are seeking a detail-oriented Commis Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Sous Chef in ensuring kitchen production quality, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting daily kitchen operations. This role requires strong culinary skills, accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
JOB DETAILS:

➡ Salary: Starting from $2,200 (depending on experience)
➡ 5 Working days per week
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kitchen Production:
- Work closely with the direct superior to ensure production quality and timing
- Maintain food quality for events and the canteen
Documentation and Procedures:
- Prepare necessary documents for daily operations
- Ensure accurate implementation of procedures
- Document menus (Matrix and Recipes)
Health and Safety:
- Support HACCP principles and documentation
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety in all kitchen areas
- Ensure workplace safety at all times
Team Support:
- Complete assigned tasks and report operational challenges
- Attend meetings as required
- Maintain good relationships with colleagues and departments
Event Support:
- Assist in catering and event preparation
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when needed
- Manage time efficiently for event schedules
REQUIREMENTS:
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role
Technical Skills:
- Strong culinary and food preparation skills
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
- Basic IT proficiency (MS Office, Google Calendar, WhatsApp)
Personal Attributes:
- Fluent English communication skills
- Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented
- Team player with adaptability under pressure
